SS - Postschutz

To the best of my knowledge, they were only embroidered on black wool. I do not remember seeing any that were hand embroidered, but I would not rule it out. I've seen them with and without the Russa braid edges. I would assume this is for enlisted vs. NCO. Several different colors of bobbin thread were used, but I'm not sure you would call those variations. Never BeVo, RZM or flatwire (IMHO).

How rare is the type in aluminium?

What is the approx value on the different types ?
