                Dear Jason and John,

Yes - I am pleased. No where near mint - but an honest combat gunner tunic. Looking at it, you wonder - Normandy? Kursk? Warsaw? It once had a cufftitle but now no longer - so that narrows the options a bit. And for the owner? Gefallen? Or an old soldier vaguely remembering those feats of long ago...

                        Hi John and Francesco,

Yes - it was in Beaver's camo book and in his three volume series. I especially like it as I suspect (no proof) that this aufklarungs oberscharfuhrer was one of the Totenkopf cadre (note Demjansk shield) transferred to the 16th SS Panzer-Grenadier Division "Reichsfuhrer-SS" when it was formed in 1943. Took two pictures and the batteries went...comparing it to the untersturmfuhrer light weight tunic I just received.
