Hi Macki, yes, that's the beauty from the MAX, thanks for letting me stand and drool over it for hours, I finally have it! Me and Liz really enjoyed our time at the MAX with you guys, it was great meeting you all, hopefully we'll see you at the next MAX. Thanks for showing us pictures of your collection, really awesome.

When I saw the first image, I said that this was too good to be true. However every other images showed me some very nice features. In my opinion, you have a very nice smock. Congratulations!

Hi Mike, just been at the in-laws for Christams dinner, and all I could think about was getting home to hold it in my hands again!!
The mrs says I've finally lost my mind now! I pay more attention to the smock than her, and she even dressed up for dinner, so I guess I'm in trouble now

If it came from Bill, it wasn't cheap - but it was right and you will never upgrade that piece.

We live just outside of London, at least for the time being, but if you want to hop accross the pond for some drooling, just make sure you bring the beers!

Drawstrings

Very nice smock, I saw it on Bill's site sadly a 'quickie' divorce would have been the only outcome if I had bought it, anyway that's what the wife said!

On a serious note and aimed at anyone out there, what does an original smock drawstring look like? All the examples I have seen in both period photos and pictured in the recent books have a wide variation of types. Is there a definitive 'issue' draw string? I'll post photos of my draw string later on.
