Great cap ! Marked "Brün" (modern days: city= Brno, Czech Republic)
= Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia (Protektorat Böhmen und Mähren)

Probably reads " Kappenmacher" (cap maker)

isnt it the same one pictured on Gary Wilkins book?

      Not the same cap.
That one have only the size mark and insignia are machine factory sewn.
      The lining is also different.

I'm posting this in two different threads because this cap seems to have come up twice (sorry for being repetitive).

The first picture doesn't seem to be the same cap as the second. The eagle appears to be a few centimeters down from the top in the first picture versus the second... If someone is sending you both of these pics.. Id be suspicious that there's something shading going on... I just don't think they're the same cap.

          Is anyone else seeing this?

Making an edit.. I've been looking at those two pics for like ten minutes now and the swastika and wreath have the most minor inconsistencies in the sticking that appears to be consistent on both pics.. So I think I'm just seeing things.. still seems to be lower though in the first pic... so strange..

There is nothing off on this cap - nice original insignia and it will likely go cheap. Good luck!

            regards, Robert

Brünn - german for Brno is written with two "n". Maybe the second "n" is too faded to see.

If you read the thread it clearly tells you " Its brother with same TK .. "
Thus telling me its NOT the same cap !
