    ss bevo sleeve eagle

Hello. Any opinions on this sleeve eagle it appears to be a tropical sewn on to
wool. Why tropical sewn on wool? If its a fake thats the answer. The color on the wool is somewhat off on the scan. Thanks for your input. Regards Dennis

There's no left and right talon detail on either leg...Is this what the US collectors call the Bowling Pin ? I just like claw detail.

              Cheers,Ian.

                Hello Ian,

Here's a "bowling pin" eagle posted by Gary in a previous thread. The ones above look like coke bottles!

                Regards,

Hi, Thanks, is it the 6 distinct feathers below the wings that is the giveaway. I
usually only count 5 on the originals (like the one below)that I handled ..This is what I had assumed. Regards Dennis

An original "bell bottom" never saw a tan one like this but it appears real to me.

                              Bevo Bird....

I would have to agree with Francesco this looks to be a silver grey bird and not a tropical. That would of course increase it's worth. David
