    Yes David indeed,but you see the eagle -picture is taken with a scanner
    And you know how much light a scanner uses yellow tend to be white
    I still think this is a tropical one


    Just ask the person what colour the backing is in normal life

        The pictures were actually taken with a digital camera (no better than a scanner, but worth mentioning). However, it is not a digital illusion. The backing is quite clearly white/grey. The front is just quite dirty, though I can't quite make out the type of soil.

        As for value, how much more do you think it would have been worth had I not cut it off of the original square piece of tunic it came with when I bought it as a teenager?

          i thought it was A tropical glad I,m wrong for you and fransesco and david where right with here opinion

          1: a tropical sleeveage: about 100$
          2: a regular white/grey sleeveagle: about 350$
          3 : a bevo-eagle still on a piece of uniform : about 600$ or higher

          These Prices are mine opinion
          so maybe else would say more or less

            It was a good sized piece too, probably 4x5 inches.

            The only consolation I have to my bonehead move as a kid is that seeing the reverse reveals that it is a dirty white/gray and not a tropical.
