This is far from my area of knowledge but looks like it was made yesterday and the box is bad. I'm sure the ring is too.

Sorry this is a post war made item. The box is also a copy of an Honor ring box.

I defer to smarter folks than I but it's an interesting rendition. Is the black area onyx or enamel?
