looks like black enamel in the background of the skull
and looks as a good original type as shown in previous threads on waf

They existed in Alpacca made also.

It is a early pre war pattern..... Value is tough, the spread could be anything like $200. to $600. for a really nice one from what I've seen.
Prices differ depending on the economy of the country of the seller!
