    EM or flatwire? YOUR opinion.......

    Guys:

    Ive had several people claim this looks like a flatwire officer TK. I have in hand & looks like an EM bevo BUT...I have no flatwire in hand to compare... can anyone help? Best, Rich

    another mystery/oddity?

    Heres another...look at the threads...this DEFINATELY has partial flatwire in the weave...has anyone ever seen this?

          Yes, I can see the silver like colored threads below the eye and the ends of the bones. Is it wire or silver colored thread? Looks like a factory error.

            They are normal BeVos from what I can see. The partially discoloured skull has not metalthread from what I can see. Most likely a shift of thread in the weaving procedure.

                I can see that it is just different colored thread that somehow got worked into the weave.
                One point of clarification is needed here.
                The" flatwire" as illustrated be DiscoPartisan is actually not wire, but metalic wrapped thread.
                This is an error in that is almost universally used for these.

                  of course you are right this is not really a wire but some sort of "metallic wrapped thread" (surely there is even more precise definition exists for this type of thread) but it looks like a wire to a naked eye and I guess that's why collectors call it "wire" for simplicity otherwise "flatwire skull" would be something like a "skull-executed-in-metallic-wrapped-thread-with-low-profile"
