    M43 Keilhose for review

    Hello WAF.

I recently placed a wanted ad on the e-stand looking for a pair of nice M43 Keilhose to pair with my M43 Italian wool SS tunic.

Forum member Wagenrad has responded and sent me some images and with his permission I am posting them here for general comments. Not having purchased a pair of these trousers in the past, I don't know much at all about this type of garment.

I appreciate those of you who do have experience in this area of uniform collecting to give me your thoughts on what these images might tell you.

    Thanks for looking and commenting.

Those pants have nothing to do with WSS ; standart army M43 pants made from italian gabardine. Offcoures such pants were used by wh and wss but stricly WSS issued were marked with SS depot stamps ( like Ra for Ravensbruck etc. ).

By writing 'italian wool' you mean italian gabardine or italian wool ( many people used expression 'italian wool" when describing gabardine so that's why I asking about it ). Could you show us the jacket you are writing about ?

Thank you for your reply. I didn't imply that these were WSS. I posted them here because this is the forum I generally follow.

              Here's the tunic.

When you look for the 43 pants then buy an example as shown. Otherwise you might look for decades and much money to find orig ss marked ones.
