SS Collar Tabs for opinions please

Can I please have your opinions on these tabs, I acquired them from a friend for somebody who said they wanted them and then they never took them from me . So can I please ask for some opinions on them; personally I am happy with them but it is always good to have some outside opinions on them as they are no longer within my collecting interests . Many thanks .

Rank Tab , I vaguely recall this was from Martin Stiles and originated from part of a Totenkopf Group break up .

The officers tab is a nice later war specimen. Regardless of where that rank tab came from, it is not one I would go for.

isn't the shown tab (which is so-called "Late-War Flatwire") made with the high-quality "moleskin" material which is usually associated only with pre-/early-war insignia?
below is a couple more of them with the same material that I think looks just like moleskin or am I wrong?

btw this so-called "Late-War Flatwire tab" do come with "standard" types of wool including "late-war" type which is with no nap (bottom one shown below)

Correct - flatwire material is WOVEN .

The ones above are MACHINE-EMBROIDERED in alu-wire .

                As opposed to hand-embroidered alu-wire around a template .

Next picture shows all 3 types mentioned .

Good to see the different kinds of wool used on the machine-embroidered tabs , thanks for showing ..

"Flat-wire" means "thin wire" used and woven or embroidered is not really in that definition and does not really matter much as both are made by machine and both are pretty "flat" and both are "officers" grade. collectors refer to them as "flatwire" more often than not and that's why I used quotes when said so-called "Late-War Flatwire tab"
Anyway the question was about the material moleskin or not
