SS Insignia on Fez for Review

$1000 seems to be the going rate for a red fez these days.

Yes, actually IF you want to win it bid $1200.00 Magic #s are $900.00 to $1200.00 for Red, $1500.00 to $1800.00 for combat/green. For us guys who have been in the game awhile, I can still remember when the red AND green went for $100.00 each & they were a hard sell. Last one I got was about 8 yrs ago off ebay & I paid $400.00. I guess that's why youre seeing soo many w/ fake insignia nowadays. They're stripped for insignia & the body is sold naked for $200.00 then fake insignia added. Here's a bad one I found using google images for " SS fez" )good base w/ fake insignia.

Yes, back in the day (sadly) the parts were worth more than the whole so they were bought, stripped and either sold bare or rebadged with 'passable' fakes.

sad people mess with them. i think they are very cool. finally got a grey one recently. history should not be messed with.

They are sort of cool. i had a couple and got rid of them. i don't find the muslim look to be very desirable these days, even if adorned with the eagle and skull.
