Weitze was selling many of these and they were rumoured to be fakes at one time. Personally I'm not a fan but that means nothing if they now have a provenance ?

Given the number of 100% guaranteed original and very nice embroidered eagles there are out on the market and for very little money I cannot see the point in speculating on a butt-ugly bird like this one.

Just my opinion obviously.
