Allgemeine Germania SS Uniform

I joined this forum a couple of years back and have been meaning to start posting here, this recent acquisition finally motivated me start posting. I just acquired this SS Germania uniform in a trade with another collector. Although I am mostly a US collector, I have wanted one of these black uniforms or many, many years. It came from a trusted source and everything about it looks fine to me, but all comments are welcome.

The insignia look very nice.

The tunic isn't 'Allgemeine' as such, just a pre-war Dienstrock worn by an SS-VT Regiment.

Everything looks original. It is only a matter if the insignia is original to the tunic in the WWII period. The cuff title and collar tabs are gorgeous examples.

Very nice insignia indeed, in which I would venture to say based upon the limited photos that at least some are very likely period application.
