New wave of fake Allach out of Hong Kong

    Hello everyone,

This may have already been posted - if it has please delete but I stumbled across this, it looks like a new wave of fake Allach, and the quality looks pretty darn good, a nice range too, the price of the real stuff is many thousands but they offer quite nice looking pieces for very low prices. Soon they say they are making original looking boxes too. So be careful anyone buying Allach

Wow. Scary...but I have to say, it looks pretty good for the money. Not that I am supporting or condoning the sale of something that appears the manufacturer is basically admitting they are being copied to deliberately deceive people. I can already imagine a few unscrupulous dealers who will try to pass this stuff off as original. Again, to me, the ad is almost suggesting they are looking for dealers who are interested in doing so...just MHO.

Main question is what you get for the order.

I ran the attachment past Dennis Porell, the major expert on Allach and he noted the photos depict known and very rare originals, that there is no email address or web site, and he said porcelain does shrink when fired so that casts doubt on if they know what they are doing. So this may be a hoax.

When I am next in Hong Kong, I know where that address is so I will drop by, see if they are there. I should give that phone number a try also.

I did recently buy a pair of Allach candle holders for pretty solid money, and yes I would be aghast if they did in fact come from this mob. I bought from a good guy, so I am not worried.

Nothing going there in that Castle Peak road address.

                  Allach fakes,

Hi, in my opnion this is definitely a hoax, launched in January 2014 by the infamous and feared A.D. Royster who mentioned this in one of his famous kick ass- newsletters (which some, if not many, consider as not even worth to be used as toilet paper...).
Anyway, the pictures published in the newsletter (and attributed to the Chinese catalogue) are taken from well known publications.
But being alarmed by what I considered shocking news and in the knowledge that these days, literally everything concerning Third Reich memorabilia is a challenge for frauds and fakers, I decided to do some research and was able to trace down the company, presenting myself as a potential re-seller for the local market in the EU, promising to resell container loads of their products. My first e-mail was left unanswered, as was my second, so I took the telephone and got in touch with some management guy. He referred me to someone who reasonably understood and spoke English and I explained to him my commercial ambition to start wholesale business with Allach items. And whether they could assist me with that. The guy was very puzzled and referred to his company's extensive range of metal garden stuff, pottery and porcelain items but he never heard of Allach and insisted he was totally unaware that his company's name an reputation was being used (abused in fact) by some people for their own purposes...
Well, I believe the man had no reason whatsoever to lie to me and frankly, this assured me that there are some sick minds running loose who seemingly find enormous pleasure to spread stupid information around with just the purpose to disturb the honest collector. Finally, from the technical point of view, the thing about the non-shrinking of porcelain when using the "Original" moulds is too silly for words. Enough said?

I recognize a number of those photos of original Allach pieces from various dealer websites.

That catalog is as phony as a three dollar bill....

I did the exact same thing and made contact with this Chinese company - same response as above. I smelled Bull**** from this A.D.Royster and voiced my concerns of his dubious claims - still await a response.
At least the Chinese company gave me an answer.
                      Steve
