      SS Troops

Rare footage of SS trapezoid insignia. It appears that the trap insignia may be black, on a green cap. I've seen caps like that.

Thank you Feldman excellent clip certainly one of the clearest depictions SS Clothing and insignia I have seen! I wonder what became of the POWs following the 'interview'?

          Cheers, Martin

I agree looks to be a black SS panzer trap on a field grey cap.

Also the other M43 cap shown has sew-on composite/ bake-lite buttons.

            Amazing clear detail. Many thanks,

            Chris

              thanks!

              Thanks for posting!

My understanding is that most if not all troops of the SS Totenkopf who managed to surrender to the US were handed over to the Soviets..

Very nice Clip - thanks for posting.

The trap on the M-43 cap is black.

I remember a post with such a cap by Mr. PMan I think he has such a rare cap in his collection.

                Regards Martin

                  Perhaps these are fakes.
