The tunic looks fine but the armband would give me reason to pause ... it's certainly A-typical. Wait for the others ...

It looks pretty nice for a motor unit. I am not concerned with the armband and, if all insignia is original to the tunic, the price is very fair.

Nice tab embroidery, hard to find in thin early bullion work.

I don't know these jackets that well but considering the heavy wear/fading on the tag,I would expect the white ink stamps to be much more faded than that.

                  Tunic

Either the tabs are gigantic, or the tunic is very tiny. They look out of proportion. The "M" and numbers even look too big. I realize it's close to the edge, but the collar tab does NOT look like it's been on the tunic for many years. The armband swastika doesn't look right, IMO. Are bullion tabs appropriate for such a low rank? The RZM tag seems to show more wear than other parts, and why so stingy with the photos? Where's pics of the shoulderboard and interior? I'd investigate further before considering purchasing.

                        Tunic

An original tunic, no doubt, but the piping on the tab and collar does not look right. Possibly reproduction. A better close-up of the piping please. Not in love with the sleeve diamond either.

Sometimes I go crazy when I read this forums. Some comments are crazy or written about total noon SS collector.
I can only accept concerns about armband (good but a typical as frequently seen in early tunic) and about fading of ink. Others are absolutely crazy IMO.

I defer to your expertise, professor, but since when does making solicited observations on a public forum make a person "crazy"? Those observations can either be accepted or rejected, hopefully with an explanation in the case of the latter. An example of an appropriate response might be, "No, it was common practice for enlisted men to wear bullion tabs", or something along those lines. "Class.........meet your new professor
