    Review Officer eagle on E-Stand

I had seen this on the E-Stand.
I asked the seller a few questions about it and he referred me to a thread about Belgian produced SS Officer Sleeve Eagles.
Apparently the guy that had sold it to him had piggybacked it onto someone else's thread. The eagle that started that thread was about a Belgian produced eagle.
I was just curious about this one. Belgian produced?
    Here is the sales thread:

And here are the pics of the eagle.

A not very good stitching job and a quite ugly eagle IMO. Not something I would like to own or be comfortable owning.

It's an early second pattern sleeve eagle and IF it has an unterlagen I believe it has a chance. Not sure about the Belgian connection ... just looks like the classic early German design to me.

Anyone else care to weigh in?
I thought the top edges and the inner wings, adjacent to the body, looked unnecessarily distressed, compared to the rest of the embroidery.

That bullion has sharper edges and would perhaps be more prone to be snagged than the tubular bullion which is smoother ?

Thank you Ian. I couldn't figure out why that was like that.
