        Beautiful!

        I love the shot of the inside of the rear seam; that's what It looked like 70 years ago, and also a nice shot of the selvedge/selvege.

          I'm not an expert on these but it appears to be a great looking tunic!

          I'm curious if near wars end did they stop putting the eagle on the sleeve? It appears this one has never had one applied -- sorry if this is a very newbie question on this subject.

            Yes, on this tunic never were arm eagle, it is sure, but the tunic itself a well weared one.

              Yes, even sleeve eagles were omitted on 44 dot uniforms as production progressed in the later stages of the war.

                what is the weight of this fabric? Does it feel like waxed cotton (e.g. like a barbour coat), or is it lighter than hbt?

                Im surprised we have not seen a high-end recreation of this type of 44 dot. The underlying taupe/mustard colors are remarkable.
