Early standarte tab?

Hi Guys

Please could I get some thoughts on this worn tab that just came in? - I think it must be an early chain stitch tab for standarte 40?

Tab

Guaranteed original tab, but much more likely to be SA. Chain-stitching was vERY common for early SA tabs, but I don't think so much for SS. The more elongated shape is also consistent with the SA. Originality?.....good as gold. The single number indicates attachment to Staff, if I'm correct.
