Do these tropical pants look like everything is there? The seller is asking 750.00 pounds, does that seem reasonable for the condition they are in. These are different from ones I've seen, one pocket in the back and they seem to be missing those straps in the back along the waistline, maybe these are later war trousers. My tunic is a later war without the pleats and the flap that goes across the back, so maybe these would be a better pair. I like the fact that this pair still has tha hooks for the belt.

Reply on SS tropical pants.
Just wondered if you ever got a reply off-line? I have a pair of tropical shorts, which I believe are SS that I want evaluated! Let see if we have any luck!? I am new here but have some experience as I have been active on the Afrikakorps Forum but do have some SS stuff that I have acquired without knowledge of fact!

Here is the mint pair of shorts I finally purchased to show with my SS Tropical tunic. Your shorts look good to me. What kind of buttons are those on the front of your shorts?I am not used to seeing those kinds of buttons on the SS shorts. Are there any markings in the shorts? I decided to buy shorts instead of pants, the pants in good condition will run you over 1000.00 dollars. I got a good deal on ebay with this mint pair of shorts from germany.

Hi Stephen, the buttons are just the usual light metal buttons that you find on many items which show up best on my upper fly area view. Your material sure is different than mine. More like dress uniform than field. Only markings on mine are shown on the 3rd picture, but very faded in upper band like yours! Can I ask how much you paid. I bought mine a while back thinking they were Luftwaffe and found out later what they were to my surprise!
