I am no Bevo expert, nonetheless, IMHO I do not feel this skull is original. Primarily, I am concerned with the detail of the design after comparing your Bevo skull to several originals. Nevertheless, I could be wrong so wait for the real experts before discarding it.

I'm no expert but I don't like the right (as we look) eye socket and the spotty weave pattern,I vaguely remember this type discussed before on here.

Thanks Gentlemen. You have confirmed my feelings. As I said I did find a match for the fake bird, but didn't find a match for the TK. Both are pretty good reproductions. These came on an old style Panzer crusher cap a friend of mine has. I initially told my friend that the insignia was repro, but the hat is pretty convincing in and of itself - so much so that I wanted other opinions on the insignia. I'll post a few pictures of the cap soon. Thanks again for you input.
