    SS Stug Wrap Questions

    Hello
Was wondering what the going price for a stug wrap and pants is nowdays. Can't seem to find anything on net that is recent. I have been offered a set but seems a little pricy. No probs with originality and is in very good shape. As always who knows when insignia was applied so lets assume it is reapplied. Asking price is $25000 with m43 also, any help appreciated
    thanks allmilcollector

That asking price is nuts, more like Glenn's suggested range. J

What is the point of a thread like this without photos or even a good description? Is it an officer or an EM? What insignia does it have? It could have a $5000 cuffband. How can you value something with this little information?

                  thanks for the reply.
as for the other replies it is late war wool with all that entails. I was not looking for an opinion on originality as I am perfectly capable of determining that for myself. It is em with no c/t. That is why is said assume reapplied. sleeeve eagle is oiginal application but tabs and boards are usually speculative as to when applied. even seller assumes reapplied
                  thanks for help

Absence of CT in late stug is a standard. Ct presence on stug wrap in late photos is rare.

When you are looking at something so expensive I would have thought that getting other peoples opinions would have been paramount what if you missed something crucial but someone saw it in photos...........

You see many more of the unissued Italian wool ones that just have the eagle and no tabs. They are less desirable in that condition, IMO. (And they make great fakes of those too out of original materials). I would say a nice German wool SS StuG wrap nicely restored without cufftitle is difficult to find. I would venture to say that they are in the 10-12k range, trousers about 5k+ and a nice cap depending on type 2.5-5k. So maybe around 20K+/- depending on type of materials, wear and configuration.

If you have any photos please post them.
