The tunic lining was in a very sad state ... You have done well.
water material did you used to restore it ?

I used one Greatcoat sleeve lining with matched almost exactly the lining of the tunic. I had one m43 army tunic with the same lining, but i didnt want to destroy it. I had this greatcoat in question for a lot of time, it was moth eaten, but i took it some years ago just because i liked the lining in the sleeves - i had never seen anything before that. Now, i decided to use the lining, because the coat is so badly damaged, that its not worth restoring it.
BTW i saw one LAH BEVO ciff title in E-stand, but now its gone, does anyone of you guys know the owner? Is it sold, or removed because of no interest?

Well i missed a lot of tunics so i decided not to miss this one
I was thinking exactly of BEVO cuff title, because the eagle will be bevo and the tab is also bevo
why better the other style?

Nice. Fix the eagle and you will have a great tunic (with or without a CT).
The liner (good repair job btw) is that typical 2 step SS type as explained in that thread that nobody wants to pin for some reason...too controversial for some to believe?

Hello Yes if i were an administrator of this forum, i would pin this thread on the first page of the SS tunics and insignia forum. Its something worth reading. I knew about this lining difference and thanks to that a long time ago i got one other 2 angle SS tunic on the price of a WH tunic - stripped. The owner just didnt know about this. Most of all - there were other buyers who didnt know that as well and they offered the seller as a normal stripped WH tunic. Well luck

BTW not the lining cut and the collar size are the only two things that differ m41 SS from m41 WH. Look ato your tunics and see the inside pocket on the down right side. Now look at the hole for the button. For the WH tunics is vertical and for the SS tunics is horizontal.

It's always interesting what was found in the pockets.
Only thing I ever found was a Theater ticket.
The pocket story's are for me less worth then a penny.

It worth reading it, even that i didnt get everything because old handwritten german is very hard to read

I remember the story, I was in the Kassel WBK, when the Italian dealer Stefano ( the member here too) asks to sell the set of the Kav officer ( visor+tunic and pants) cheaper. The owner , dealer from Linz, check the tunic again and found full set of awards, plus papers in the pocket, including DKIG...

WOW amassing what a man could find in a pocket. Today i was at Wewelsburg Museum. Its a shame that only one black SS officers tunic is shown and one WSS Visor cap - the rest is documents and propaganda stuff. But still it was interesting.

For this tunic rzm insignia are the top.
Of course you must use quite early rzm tab... And for the period I don't remember in this moment many rgt with bevo ct. Of course soldiers could change div. Expecially in 43/44.
But in all books of veterans you read tunics were frequently changed after heavy battle and heavy use till 1944.
