The only the pictures clearly tell you is that the cap is not a dachau. Rightly or wrongly, the only black ss M-43 accepted on this forum are dachaus. Because no other explanation is given, IMO they say it is fake because it is not a dachau.

You do have many other versions of the black M43 caps than the Dachau type
but this one doesn't belong to any of the versions ...!

Sir, you are correct in what you are stating here.

There are indeed other SS M43's with a trap that are 101% original, made before May 1945 that are not the "Dachau type"
