    Quedlinburg Badge

    Hi all,

I'd like some opinions on this Quedlinburg badge that has been offered to me. It's been described as made of copper (not the Al-Cu version). Any thoughts appreciated.

I'm looking for such a badge for a long time, and if you have one available, PM me.
    Thank you, gentlemen.

    Cheers,
    Mil

              Thanks, Chris.

Could you explain or give some reasons so we can learn?
PM me if you feel appropriate.

              Thanks,
              Mil

                  Hi David,

Would you be able to elaborate on why you think the badge is a bad one? For me the main thing is that it does not have the sandwich core. PM me if you feel appropriate.

As well as the sandwich core as you say .....
It also has a wrong pin too I can also imagine the weight is much heavier than the original as its a solid piece of metal.

As a matter of interest ....
Does anyone know how much an original badge and pamphlet might cost if you can find one of course ?
                    Regards
                    David

Stick to the accepted type mate. I also wouldn't be happy with this one.

                            Hi,

i don't remember how many variants of "Rede Des Reichsführers-SS Im Dom Zu Quedlinburg" exist (at least 3 or 4), but it was printed to hundred of thousand copies. Price is probably +200 Euros (more if it is the first edition).

                            See You

                            Vince

Sorry for the late reply. Been a little busy. I will post some more detailed pictures of mine and try to explain some more about this tonight.

BTW, an original badge should cost around $1,000.00+, that is if you can find one. These do not turn up often.

                              Best, Chris
