      Skulls

They may not be from the "Berlin Hoarde", but I'm not sure they're fake. Instead of cleaning the skull to a high gloss, take a rough cloth. or a stiff toothbrush to remove the grime. A rounfdtoothpick might help if it's hard to remove in the crevices. Don't use anything that will scratch the surface. Rubbing it hard with a cloth, will bring up some of the lustre without taking off the natural patina.

Just my opinion,,,,I think you guys are kidding yourselves... They are simple pressed pieces.

Hoard or not,,,IF they don't show the glaring faults of being reproductions then consider them all authentic.
No one can prove they are 100% authentic, and no one can prove they are fakes [unless the glaring faults]...

        - You have one or some,,you like them, and they don't display the tell tale signs of a fake then fine be happy with your authentic skulls..
Thanks to modern production methods the counterfeiters use these simply made pieces just won't hold much value in the future..

I read that these cost 10 Euro each out of the box of sand and rocks, on the table of fake stuff. For that price, I would take a gamble. Beyond that... no thanks.
