I have been offered this M/43 cap. I find the skull a bit funny, but I realy dont have a clue about this things. Sorry for the bad pic, and this is the only one the seller gave me.

Øyvind,the cap itself looks to be Bundes Luftwaffe,these were common on the UK surplus market in the late '70s.And,as you've been told,the insignia IS a bad fake. (Does the cap have a grey leather sweatband and grey cotton lining with plastic diamond sweat shield ..or the remains of the outline ?)
