Hi Forum, I recently picked these up in a trade and wanted to get your blessing on them! Two SS chevrons... one white summer and the other is a field version? I am still learning about these. The signal diamond does not seem to have a buckram backing? I was told that some did not have a stiffener? I believe this is for an officers as it is bullion. Thanks in advance!

Signal bullion looks ok for quality from obverse, however reverse with a Rzm SS paper tag seems STRANGE. Something is fishy. Perhaps the rzm tag as not being original to the diamond.
The chevrons are LuftWaffe.

I kind of agree with Felix. If the buckrum is gone, why is the tag still attached? Odd. Original period bullion work though.Comment

I heard that some of the early signal blitzes may not have had a buckram backing in the first place? That might explain the lack of one... If the tag is correct for the piece, I will leave it as it is in case it is correct. Thanks for the replies !Comment
