SS collar patch help needed

Hello all,

Found this patch at a local flea market here in the Netherlands this morning.
It was laying around in a box of cutlery and other stuff (also found a British button board in that box.)

Could you please help me determine if its an authentic collar patch or a fake?

Wrong shape for a collar tab ....
I think its trying to be a sleeve diamond.
But not a good one ....
