HPC is a "Hermann Potthoff" maker mark. In Wilkin's book You may found complete information about this company and headgears they produced. The difference between coastsal and WSS caps is a shape of the caps as far as i know.

    Best,
    Alex

            Sergey,

Don't bother paying 80.00 for that book just to find out about HPC.
Wilkins list of verified headgear by manufacturer is nowhere near a complete and acurate list. I don't think making one would be possible for anyone,
considering there were a a gazillion private cap makers throughout the Third Reich.
As far as maker HPC goes, Wilkins only lists them as a maker of schirrmutzen.
He has no information on field caps by this maker or any other type of headgear.

if you cap is green lined with false side flaps 2 vent holes per side it is probably a coastal artillery/naval tropical cap...

Hello. The cap has standart light brown linner. It hasnt any vent holes, but I know that such type of caps used for coastal artillery too.
