I personally have never had an issue with the so called houndstooth band. I just think it was a variant(there we go again) maker of the band material. As for the lettering looks ok but unusual look to the formation of the stiching..I presume due to the machine tension setting.

I too would like to know how these were determined to be fakes. I have searched a lot of threads and can't find an explanation on it. It seems to be some collector secret......

Maybe someone can give us some facts us on why these are fakes and who made them?
