I have to say some considerations:
until today not so dangerous Julleuchters surfaced on the market; when I buy one I usually take measurements, look at some details outside and inside, take its weight and I make pictures in high resolution of all the 4 sides. Original pieces have some details a fake can't have.

This time, I admit, as some other respectable collectors I was too fast in judgement, and this is a mistake no one should ever make. Looking at pictures in a fast way is Dangerous, as it is Dangerous not ask for a straight shots of a piece in discussion. From now, each Julleuchter will be studied in deep, as we always do for all the rest of the TR pieces.

I'm also sure this one is the first of a tons of other fakes will surface on the market in next years.

    My books:

    - THE WEHRPAß & SOLDBUCH OF THE WH
    - THE SS TK RING
    - THE ITALIAN-GERMAN MEDAL
    - THE ANTI PARTISAN BADGE
    - THE AWARDS OF THE LW

    and more!

BTW: there are some pieces in mint conditions, and this is one of them.
I have me too some near mint Julleuchters, but I have no problem with them.

      Oww !

      Now that's a worry.

But create a fakes by hands does not necessarily...
There are 3Dscaner and 3Dprinter now for creating a model.
They can reproduce a necessary details

But not with the same material and the same weight.
Julleuchter were made with fired clay, and a fired material if anilyzed with high resolution pictures or microscope is different from everything used in a 3D printer.

and after firing in oven the size has become 23,5cm - its some bigger than original but its normal for a joky gift

I forgot this part, so thanks Erich for your laugh, I can only agree with you and I must say this is a big lie.

It is absolutely clear you used the original Julleuchter to make the mold for this new one. By hands you can't reply the exact measurements and distances between the indentations in all the sides.
Ok, this time you fooled me and some others because we didn't the right attention, but it not means we are stupids.
So please, make a copy in this way is not a joke as you said, you tried to fool us in all the ways. I accept my mistake, but I can't accept lies.

I could go on and on, as I have all the types of Julleuchter, including the one you used to make the mold.

you really do not understand... but you need to know some about the ceramic if You researching it...
Of course I wanted it to look like the original and ofcourse I copied the dots from original. You think it's strange?
If I made a form from original directly - the final dimentions (after drying and firing) were smaller than the original in 15-20%
                      I made a new "original" - model - plasticine
                      where is the lie?

the location of each point on each side was copied VERY EASY (transparent film and paper)

Yes, I find strange that someone make copies in this way with so much details and I find even more strange asking opinion about these copies.
I have a friend who produce medals and awards for 3 different armies of 3 different nations, but I never asked him to make some copies of the medals I studied for me.

I repeat, I find very strange and very suspicious what you do.

booteen - I am curious - can you make a sign for Erbhof . . . one like this?

Someone I recall - from Russia - was making these a few years ago . . . was that you, or do you know who it was?

Its probably all just a wind up, I have a suspicion the pictures are fabricated, i,e Photoshop type of thing, I am not convinced
