Take a look at the "P" ... It has something like an arrow where the "P" letter ending ! Have You ever encountered such things on original cuff titles ?

      Cheers,
      Alex

The points you have mentioned are not really a way of determining if the title is original or not there are a lot of titles that have very weak letters "PE" EM embroidered fall into that category, your second point about the lettering going over the aluminium edging again does not help as this happens a lot with original embroidered titles, and to push a point see the title below, not only do some of the letters go over the lower edging they also cover the top edging.

          Hi Gary,
I know that exist some cufftitles with the lettering going over the aluminium, but I have never seen her so much over on a PRINZ EUGEN ct. and I agree with pimpf that has underlined well the defect for the letter P, there is also besides another defect in the point of the I.
So maybe I can wrong, but there are other thing I don't like on this CuffTitle

          Cheers
          Francesco

            Alex,
yes i noticed that BUT it maybe just be faulty, and if it is faulty is does not mean it is a fake, there is plenty of original items out there that have faults, some more noticeable than others, quite a lot of the BeVo bands have a fault line in, very small but a fault line never the less, now look at the second PE cuff i posted above, look at the lower curve on the "e" this is also faulty, looks like the machine has jumped, these items are mass produced by a machine not everything is perfect but if it looks ok to do the job it was probably used, recently someone posted a red fez with a faulty cloth TK sewn to it the first response was its a fake, the badge still looked like a TK but was different due to the fault and in this world of paranoia if one item is not exactly like another in a lot of cases they get labelled as fakes.

Now the title that started this thread might very well be a fake or it might be original but from the photo's provided you cannot tell 100%.
            cheers,
            Gary

again if you look at the picture above and look at the "n" notice around the bottom of that letter, again faulty, the top covering stitches have either not been embroidered or have unravelled
