              Gary, are you refering to the weak letter style as I know them from the "Nordland" titles? Close ups also from the borders will help out for this title.

                ...matey...

                "CT" = "cap talley"... right?

                    Hello Gary,
                    unfortunately I don't speak a good English but I hope you can understand.
                    For first thing I don't like particularly the particular ones from the letters the "P" and also the "G" that overlaps on the low silvering of the Cufftitle.
                    Second thing, the writing is too much low in comparison to the band... etc etc.
                    Please ,excuse my bad English,

                        This is an orignial title, with the so called weak serifs in a very nice condition.

                            Francesco,

                            You probably speak more English than I do Italian ,

                            The points you have mentioned are not really a way of determining if the title is original or not there are a lot of titles that have very weak letters "PE" EM embroidered fall into that category, your second point about the lettering going over the aluminium edging again does not help as this happens a lot with original embroidered titles, and to push a point see the title below, not only do some of the letters go over the lower edging they also cover the top edging.
                            cheers,
                            Gary
