    W-SS sleeve (hammerhead) eagle

        From the photos, I can't see anything wrong with this.

        It's very unusual to find these square-headed eagles in unused condition, as they are the 1938/41-ish style, seldom seen from the middle of the war onwards.

              Hi Doc, I think the eagle is just fine and original, however I beg to differ with Robin and think that it is late war not 38- 41. In fact if you go to page 288 in Mike's book he says that the uniform that it's on was produced in '44 along with an Estonian Dachau shield. Either way it's a nice eagle. Sonny
