SS Oberfuhrer ID Assistance....

This SS Oberfuhrer (and SD member) is pictured in a series of photos welcoming various Luftwaffe Officers (to include a Pour le Mérite holder) at an airfield, this (cropped) photo being of those from that series. Can anyone make a postive ID on this Oberfuhrer ??? Note also that the skull is missing on his visor (as in the remainder of the photos from the series)....

early photo of Karl Wolff? To me if you look at some pics of him the ears and eyebrows, etc., may be him.
