My personal opinion is that it is a little too rough in construction. I have only ever seen the black type and they are beautifully constructed. This is not even close in my opinion. Jim.

Is there a possibility that this was a homemade deal before the SS started issuing superb quality formal cloth? I ask this question because the stitching seems so tight and there is oxidation on the rings. Cloth is not my specialty but all opinions are appreciated.

I beg your pardon Sir ....
But the sports shirt runes are woven and not printed as are the ones on the pennant. I also have to say to runes aren't even close for me
