    early Allgemeine cavalry tab

I have just aquired this It was listed as SA am i correct in thinking it is ss.
From info i have to hand it possibly is 8th standarten Paderborn west.
I have had a hard time finding similar examples on the net to compare with.I found something similar in bullion with no piping i also found machine embroidered with black and silver piping. But couldn't find any examples with white piping as in the tab i have posted.
Any opinions will be very much appreciated.
    Cheers
    Dave.

I posted the sa tab in the political forum, also showed the ss tab.
A member posted this tab,in anyone's opinion would it be some sort of variant with the number being chain stitched.

It's closer to the ss design than the SA cavalry tabs.I'm going to go with ss,the chain stitch could explained as maybe a private purchace piece.

There might have been a provision for adding in chain stitched numbers. The wool blank came pre-embroidered with the staffs and no number assigned. The tab is clearly a no-brainer, IMO. The other option might have been a unit change at some point.
