Where is the sport in just calling it fake? Why?? Don't expect much of a discussion, but I thought I would try to stimulate a conversation anyway.

I am not saying itis pre-1945 but this jacket does not exhibit the characteristics of a typical repro.

I agree with Bill. We've been round and round forever on these things here, but there has still been no exploration of pieces which differ from "textbook" (which is really only what 5 or 6 experienced collectors have been able to reach a consensus on), even though we know that other, perfectly real, pieces must have existed. Apparently, there is no accepted mechanism for evaluating such "other" pieces.
