      Hello,
I am not sure what I should think about this piece. As I know here are many experts on cultural pieces, so I want to ask for opinion. I am really not sure if this one could be (probably restored) period piece or not.

Thank you in advance for all your input.

The mix of metalwork suggests it wasn't all made at the same time. Hand worked iron, and what are those other pieces, the 1944 and lock face, cast painted alloy, iron?

It would be cool if the initial owner could provide you with the missing original four wrought iron runic symbols as well.

It is amazing how many different styles of chests were made in the period.

                  Hello,
I just got more pictures of the metalwork from the seller...I must say I quite like what I see, but I am far from being expert in this area. Do you see any obvious red flags here?

P.S. I could also get interesting candleholder from the same source...I know that is impossible to tell from one picture if this piece is period, but don´t you know if this is well known pattern or not?

                  Thank you for comments
