        Good question...I am not too knowledgeable on time frames that your asking but I would assume rather early since its not a zinc example. I am sure someone with more knowledge on that will chime in.

          This is a nice early skull from the early 1935-1936 era. The first, in 1934, were unmarked, then DuSM, and then the 52 mark on the jaw. Next is the 52 on the cranium and finally M1/52 on the cranium.

              I agree with Bob here. Also, you may find it interesting that these early skulls are stamped from a different front die from that of the later, more common M1/52 style skulls.
              Not only do these have different characteristics, but they are actually smaller altogether in size.

                This is a very hard skull to find in such nice condition and complete with both prongs.
