An excellent Bauer portrait. I suspect that it was taken when he was photographing the release of prisoners from the camp during his visit in late 1933.

Anybody out there who has an original Dachau tab as seen in the photo? I thought the photo would get some more comments? Maybe this kind of insignia is unknown to the majority...
