      Here you go Tim.

Three Der Fuhrer Cuff's in Gothic Script, all very close in sequence. Came from the Vet's son years ago along with I believe a couple party flags and a Handshar collar tab.

I am proud as well as happy to be a member of the WAF. It's kinda' like family.
Come on over to the house for a beer tomorrow! It's my daughter's 2nd birthday and my retirement party as well as the retirement party for her godfather!
We got food, but you gotta' bring your own beer!
        Tim
Looks like an SW1500 switcher? Do you work in the yard? My father works for Alton & Southern Switch Yard in Illinois. What a way to make a living.

Yeah, a 1500. I did work as a switchman. A really bad winter! The worst ever in my memory. I violated a technical safety rule on the 5th of May and they were going to fire me for 30 days. I had enough time in to get paid my 5 weeks vacation for 2015, so I lived everyone's dream:

"You can't fire me, I quit!"

So, we had a birthday party for my 2 year old yesterday and a retirement party for me and an engineer from the same yard, that is coincidentally my daughter's godfather.
No hangover today, even though I drank beer, wine and tequila (TAKILLYA")!

          Jeff,
Funny how mine is a 9000 series and your's are all the way up in the 200,000's! I can't believe that they would make up over 200,00 DER FUHRER cufftitles alone. It doesn't make sense, but threre it is. Huh!

Have to clean up the detritus from the party.

          Tim

Interesting, my dad gets a few weeks off here and there for what he calls Bull**** technical rules that no one follows and only gets in trouble for! I guess that is not an isolated incident, especially now that even the yards and shortlines are all subsidiaries of BNSF, UP, etc. In my line of work, I work with railway workers often; dangerous but well-paid positions in this day and age.
