Inhave been wonderingnhow many different ORIGINAL stamp markings are fojnd on visor hats. I have seen a few different RZM SS stamps on original hats and think a thread showing them might be helpful.

There are some original Waffen SS NCO visor hats that have the RZM SS ink stamp on the underside of visor (exactly like the Alg SS hats) theory being that the visor brims were being used up for watime grey visors.Comment

ss caps and the markings
Here is my contribution to the thread.
I just like the Allgemeine caps, which are truly classy!
Vintage 1936 and a 1939 version, with different stamps and tags.
The later cap, has had its black rzm ink stamp on bill worn off.
If anyone has information as to what the HB (followed by the date) ink stamp inside many of these caps stands for please advise I have always wanted to know.

Oops, didnt realize till now that we are concentrating on the rzm bill stamp only! Got a tad excited and thought we were discussing all cap ink stamps and such.
Anyway, if anyone has info on stamps chime in.

Am asking anyone for info that can help with a black SS hat recently discovered that has the under side of visor marked stamped with small "RZM" on left under side of visor brim, and a small "SS" on the right under side of brim. each is faded black looks like ink and are each located close to the corners of the brim.Comment
