      Hi,

why such medal would be done ?
Why the school is not pictured at the back ?
      The SS runes are UGLY.

Clearly a fantasy post-war item imo...

The recruitment propaganda items made by the SS-Junkerschule Braunschweig i know are :

      - special insert available in the "Dich Ruft Die SS" booklet,
      - special booklet printed by the school to enlist HJ in the Waffen-SS (available with additional inserts).

      See You

The crispness and fine 3 dimensional detail remind me of non-militaria things I've seen that have been laser-cut ?

                Hi,

you are right Ian, the details are amazing, better than the Quedlinburg tinnie.

the fine horizontal lines running the length of the face also point towards a laser.

You may have better luck listing this plastic coin in the bazaar section!

which is in the WAF just so ... German saying "What does not know the farmer, he does not eat"

my mistake, I will only show here the well-known Crap

                          Hi,

are you implying that you KNOW that your item is C-R-A-P and that you are disappointed because everyone is saying what it is (a bogus item) ?

The problem is that you said that it came from "your grandmother", when some members here said it was maybe done with a laser cut ?

It reminds me of the last "Totenkopfring" topic, where someone in the US tried to pass a fake as an original...
