Info about the "buckram" on SS tabs

Hi,
These pair of collors are off the same jacket so are truly a pair but the buckram appears different.

On Bevo collar tabs the original backing is quite hard to get a needle though, I think in many cases they field replaced the backing with cardboard hence making sewning the tab on a lot easier.
