              It would seem so. Unless there were SS caps made without the "false piping". It is possible, but I'm not familiar with any. I'd say it's worth the sum of it's parts, which all look good to me from these pics.

                Insignia is 100% correct & well applied Cap COULD be coastal Artillery and even that is quite common, even w/ vet bring backs. Question is can you live with a cap where everything is original but not 100% textbook? I say as long as priced accordingly I see no problems with it. here's mine ( and I sleep VERY well at night over it) to compare with: please note the smaller sized TK is used....Best, Richard
