A one looker, have a look at the lettering layout and dimensions as compared to a real one, you will notice more space between the tops of the letters and the top bar among many other obvious lettering screw ups on the fake.

I used the search function and had to wade through a zillion Reddick fakes posted but found a one good one to compare with here... a beauty posted by RobertE, there are not many of these (good ones) posted here in the SS section, I did not check the police section.

There is a nice one owned by R. Embree in the book "Insignia and Artifacts of the Waffen SS" by Beaver and Bando to drool over.

I hope you did not buy this fake Mathieu? and if so you can get your money back.

The SS Feldgendarmerie was simply never made in the normal Bevo style but only in the so-called "Bevo-like" format per blow with unsewn ends. (although Hand embroidered versions also exist).
