some good point have been made in this thread and it is nice to see this "discussion".
My opinion, it is very difficult sometimes to tell from photo's especially with a tunic, sometime you can see a photo and it shouts at you either way, this one would need a hands on inspection Imo, i also see the shadow of collar litzen, now if they are there one could argue he transferred from a HEER unit ect ect, but at the end of the day would you be happy with it!
Fakers have used the trick of putting real insignia on fake tunics, or real insignia on real tunics of other branches, or a mix or real and fake, somewhat like original RZM labels on fake insignia and visa versa.
without a hands on inspection and going from the photos only, the shoulder straps look like they are original, the sleeve eagle also although i am concerned that it is machine sewn on i would have been happier if it had been hand sewn on like the cuff title, the cuff title is original, the tk collar patch i am not sure if i would be happy with i would certainly need to see much better pictures but probably not one for me the quality is terrible, the rank patch again has those collar pips with the side splint that seem to be on every officers rank patch you see for sale nowadays, yes i know they used them period but they seem to have become more common as the years have gone on.
When I look at the tunic I see award loops and some of the insignia shows either use or age but the tunic looks in better condition than the insignia and there appears to be no wear to the buttons.
That is my conclusion from the photos provided,
cheers,
Gary
